Additional Info:

• size : 1 Kg, color : Blue, material : Silica Gel, special_feature : Moisture Absorbing, operation_mode : Color Change Indication
• Blue colour of the crystals fades and turns transparent upon absorbing atmospheric moisture.
• To reuse, heat the transparent crystals till the blue colour is not restored.
• Blue silica gel is usually made with a blue dye that changes color to pink as it absorbs moisture.
• This color change provides a visual indication of when the desiccant needs to be regenerated or replaced.
• Dry and desiccant silica gel crystals have dehumidifying properties. These are not for food grade items
• The purpose of these silica gel is to absorb the moisture in the air sucked in by the transformer during the breathing process.
• Silica gel breathers are filled with Blue Silica gel (Indicating Type) which has the moisture absorption capacity and signals the saturation degree by changing its color.
• Silica gel in the breather will be blue when installed and they turn to pink color when they absorb moisture which indicates the crystals should be replaced.
