• The square wave output has a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of approximately 3 V peak-to-peak (Vp-p). The output jacks used are "V ? mA" and "COM".
• When testing the current gain (hFE) of a transistor, turn the switch to the hFE position and insert the transistor into the 8-hole socket according to its type and pin configuration.
• When measuring DC voltage, AC voltage, DC current (up to 200 mA), resistance, diodes, continuity (buzzer), or batteries, connect the red test lead to the "V ? mA" jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.
• When measuring current above 200 mA, connect the red test lead to the "10A" (or "10A DC") jack, and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.
